MANA Education Program
MANA has an active education program. We have residents from Internal Medicine, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation residency programs, CRNA students, Medical students from Caribbean Medical Schools rotate through our structured education program.
MANA also provides an opportunity to select Foreign Medical Graduates to gain US Clinical Experience. The fellows work full time with Board Certified Physicians. They are involved with patient care, research, meetings etc. This allows the fellows to gain clinical experience, presentation skills, record keeping skills etc. At the end of their 6-month fellowship, Board Certified physicians provide them with an evaluation. All our previous fellows have successfully obtained residency positions in well-reputed programs around the country.

GOALS OF MANA Fellowship
At the completion of fellowship, the fellow will have:
- A large knowledge base and the clinical and technical skills necessary to care for patients in chronic pain
- Develop skills to interact with patients
- Ability to review and evaluate medical reports including radiology and laboratory reports.
- Sophistication to function within a complex multi-disciplinary team as a clinician.
- Experience in identifying the psychosocial needs of patients and their families, and understand its impact on disease management and outcomes.
- Experience how a multi-disciplinary team works in caring for the pain patient.
- Learn the basics of interdisciplinary outpatient assessment.
- To develop a personal program of self-study and professional growth with guidance from the teaching faculty.
- To base clinical decisions upon scientific evidence-based medicine.
- To develop basic skills in research.
