Story of MANA is one of success and evolution from a solo neurosurgery practice to a successful patient focused comprehensive multi-disciplinary organization. It truly reflects the spirit of the founder’s idea of practicing medicine with compassion, progress and continued growth while incorporating related disciplines, to provide convenient yet complete care. Teaching and sharing of ideas as well as taking expertise to less fortunate amongst us and training surgeons overseas during travels to far off places and also bringing them to US and training them in various procedures so they can take care of their own.
MANA was started as a solo practice in 1996. It was expanded with the addition of one neurosurgeon. With the patient comfort and convenience in mind, Pain Management was added and then Neurology, prior physical therapy. We started training international graduates as pre-residency fellows and subsequently started international outreach-providing care and training to underserved and underdeveloped countries. We have been providing assistance in disaster relief with personnel as well as equipment and monetary help.
